Volunteer Showcase and Open House

Join us for a Volunteer Showcase and Open House!

Discover exciting ways to give back to our state parks by exploring diverse volunteer opportunities with the Friends of Gamble Rogers State Park.

Meet our volunteer team, learn about our impactful projects, and find the perfect role to match your interests.

We welcome people who would like to join our effort and direct their time and skills toward the Florida Park Service mission... "to provide resource based recreation while preserving, interpreting and restoring  natural and cultural resources
".

Our Volunteer Showcase and Open House event is for anyone who's curious about the organization and wants to learn more. It’s an excellent chance for potential volunteers to meet with the team and learn more about programs and projects. In addition, meeting our current volunteers can answer any questions you might have.

Tables will be set up around the Tradewinds Picnic Pavilion featuring park and FROGRS programs such as sea turtle patrol, kayak tours, invasive plant removal, outreach and more.
Bring a friend and learn together, because together we can conserve and protect our environment for the future.

Event is free; park entry free required.

Friends of Gamble Rogers State Park is a 501c3 non-profit community based Citizen Support Organization that supports Gamble Rogers and North Peninsula State Parks through volunteerism and fundraising.

All donations are tax-deductible.
